We received official notification last week that Laura and I earned the Certified Governance Trainer designation from BoardSource and are now part of an ‘elite’ group of only 140 trainers in the world! As such will be able to utilize the BoardSource training materials, research and tools here locally in our consulting work. We are really excited to be able to partner with THE recognized resource on all things related to nonprofit boards, and even more eager to be able to share that with our clients and our community.
Jenny and I just returned from a week at the BoardSource Leadership Forum in New Orleans and it was fantastic! I attended the two-day conference, and then Jenny joined me for the three day Certified Governance Trainer program. We were two of 22 consultants selected from across the country to participate in the training program, and we were really excited to have this opportunity!
