While ‘officially’ summer doesn’t start until June 21st, when the high reaches into the triple digits, the snowbirds flee to their northern climates, and the kids are out of school, I think it’s safe to say that summer has arrived.
I’ve got my Summer in the City card to encourage me to shop locally during the slow summer months, and in the spirit of summer savings, we’d like to offer $100 off our next series of workshops (usually $699) if you purchase in the month of June. Check out our website for details, and email us if you have any questions!
In other news, I’d like to encourage you to participate in a survey being conducted by ASU, the Arizona Alliance of Nonprofits, and Lodestar. The Economic Vitality Survey is a statewide project that will be segmented geographically, and will produce the first-ever Economic Impact Report of Nonprofits in Southern Arizona.
Our local AFP chapter feels this report will be an eye-opening reminder to local businesses and governments underlining the critical role our nonprofit community plays in the economic vitality of our region.
I hope you will help make sure Southern Arizona is well-represented by taking the survey!
Cheers!
