IDEA Statement

Alexander|Carrillo Consulting statement on
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access

Alexander|Carrillo Consulting believes that our community nonprofits are stronger when they include diverse people and perspectives in their efforts.

Toward that end, we are committed to ensuring that inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA) is addressed and included in our work with our clients.

We acknowledge that systemic racism and oppression exists and marginalized people continue to be oppressed.  Furthermore, we believe that some of the systems and structures that have been accepted as best practices in the nonprofit sector perpetuate the oppression of marginalized people and require further examination.

We are committed to learning and leading changes that will ensure that our sector is more just and equitable.  We engage with professional counsel to help guide our understanding and inform our practice.  We work to be actively anti-racist.  We seek opportunities to support diverse colleagues in our sector, especially BIPOC, LGBTQIA and people with disabilities.
